In 2020, Efrat Oppenheimer co-founded an initiative dedicated to advising philanthropists on innovative ways to achieve and collectively maximize meaningful social outcomes. Her strategic approach has inspired and mobilized new sectors of philanthropy both within Israel and for its benefit.

With over 13 years of experience, Efrat has focused her career on transforming philanthropy into a tool for systemic change. As interim director of Israel’s first Center for Next Generation and Family Philanthropy at JFN Israel, she developed advisory programs and peer networks for emerging philanthropic leaders. Her work at the Shahaf Foundation and the Naor Foundation underscored her expertise in designing collaborative funding models aimed at driving measurable social impact.

Earlier in her career, Efrat worked in the fields of human rights and education, advocating for underserved communities and creating pathways to opportunity. She holds a B.A. in Gender, Television, and Film Studies from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from the Mandel Social Leadership Program at Ben-Gurion University.
