A founder of the London Initiative says Isaac Herzog’s response to its letter on West Bank violence shows the value of not sitting back.

The recent escalation has prompted sharp criticism from US officials, Israeli academics, artists, and Diaspora leaders, who warn that the trend is not only a moral crisis but has implications for Israel's global standing.

Israeli President Herzog condemned violence by “extremist elements in Judea and Samaria,” in a letter addressed to Jewish diaspora leaders.

Leading figures in Jewish philanthropy, as well as communal leaders and even right-wing Israeli commentators, are raising their voices in a rare chorus against the rise of violence by Israeli extremists against Palestinians in the West Bank.
