Noa Landau is the Global Editor of Haaretz, Israel’s oldest daily newspaper, where she leads the paper’s international expansion and oversees its English-language journalism. She previously served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief and is a member of the newspaper’s editorial board.

Since joining Haaretz in 2009, she has worked as a reporter, commentator and senior editor, including as editor of the English edition. Landau is also the founder of Haaretz21, an organizational initiative aimed at amplifying underrepresented voices and stories of Arabs/Palestinians in Israel.

Before joining Haaretz, Landau worked as a journalist for Galei Tzahal radio, Channel 10 TV and Maariv. She has more than two decades of experience in journalism.

Landau studied Political Science at Tel Aviv University. She is an alum and Advisory Board member of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford. In 2023, she was awarded the Ari Rath Prize for Critical Journalism by the Bruno Kreisky Forum in Vienna. She was also named one of the 50 most influential women in Israel by Forbes Israel
