Michal serves as a consultant to The London Initiative, and is the Israel Director of the Alan B. Slifka Foundation, a New York - based philanthropic Foundation dedicated to cultivating a world safe for difference and advancing shared society in Israel. She also consults the Forum of Foundations in Israel on various projects.

Michal holds a B.A. in International Relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Master’s Degree in Peace and Development Studies from Gothenburg University in Sweden.

Michal has three children and she lives in Modi’in, Israel.
