Judah Ari Gross is the managing editor of eJewishPhilanthropy, focusing on Jewish philanthropy, nonprofits and communal organizations in the United States, Israel and around the world. Judah was born and raised in Philadelphia. He studied journalism at the University of Maryland and made aliyah shortly after graduating. He started working for The Times of Israel in January 2015, serving as its military correspondent for nearly seven years before becoming its religions and Diaspora affairs correspondent. In 2021, Judah completed a master's degree in the University of Haifa's Ruderman Program for American Jewish studies. Judah lives in the northern Israeli town of Zichron Yaakov with his wife, three children and dog.
