Joel Braunold is the managing director of The Center Project having consulted for leading organizations, funds and foundations on public policy and issues surrounding financing of violence prevention, combating antisemitism, Middle East policy issues and peacebuilding in the domestic and international contexts. He was the lead advocate for the Nita M Lowey Middle East Partnership for Peace Act leveraging $250 million in an authorized fund for peacebuilding as Executive Director of ALLMEP. Joel is a contributing editor at Lawfare and has published widely. He lives in Chicago with his wife and daughter.
