Maya Ilany is the CEO of the Brandeis Institute. She previously served as Head of Public Outreach at Molad, The Centre for the Renewal of Israeli Democracy. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Economics. Earlier in her career, she worked as a parliamentary adviser for the UK Labour Party, as Deputy Director of Yachad, an organisation promoting a political resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and as Head of Communications and Campaigns at the British trade union Community. She began her professional path as a journalist in Israeli media outlets and has published articles and op-eds in Haaretz, N12, Telem, The Guardian, and other publications.
