Baron, Portland Trust CEO, has 30 years’ senior strategic and commercial experience, most recently in Oman, restructuring aviation and launching Visit Oman, also working at the British Embassy. He was Executive Director at the Manchester Airports Group and New Economy, Greater Manchester’s economic development arm (now the Combined Authority). He worked at the European Central Bank and in corporate finance in London and Budapest for CMS Cameron McKenna, as well as the UN and OECD, as Honorary Consul and Non-Executive Board member of two NHS Trusts, Governor at JCOSS, and is one of the Board of Deputies of British Jews.
