Noeleen is Chair of the New Israel Fund (UK) and serves on the NIF International Board. She is a founding trustee of the Movement for Progressive Judaism and is Vice-Chair of Citizens UK, the community organising charity. Noeleen has previously chaired Leo Baeck College, the UK's Progressive Jewish seminary, and has supported Israeli and South African NGO’s to establish a presence and raise funds in the UK.

After moving with her family to the UK from South Africa in 1999, Noeleen transitioned from a career in strategic marketing and communications into the voluntary sector; taking on the joys and challenges of communal leadership; serving on a range of community and charity boards and building partnerships that sustain and strengthen organisations.
