Idana Goldberg became the CEO of The Russell Berrie Foundation in January 2022 after previously serving as the Chief Program Officer beginning in 2017. Idana, who holds a PhD in History from the University of Pennsylvania, has experience as both a grant-maker and non-profit executive, serving as a Vice President at Prizmah: Center for Jewish Day Schools after serving as Co-Executive Director at RAVSAK, one of Prizmah's legacy organizations. She also served in several strategic grantmaking roles at the Jewish Funders Network. She began her career at the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and is the author of Crafting a Class: College Admissions and Financial Aid, 1955-1994. She lives in White Plains NY and she and her husband are the parents of three young adult children.
