Mikhael is one of the leaders of the Faithful Left, a movement of religious Jews committed to justice, equality, and ending the occupation, as well as the Director of the Alliance Fellowship, which fosters Arab-Jewish political partnership. He is the author of End of Days: Ethics, Tradition, and Power in Israel ( Academic Studies Press) and Sermons from the Abyss (Hebrew). He was previously the director of Breaking the Silence and the think tank Molad. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife Yael and their three children, Ruth, Sarai, and Noach.
