Brit is a social activist who has founded and led organizations and initiatives within Israeli civil society. She managed grantmaking in the fields of democracy and gender at the New Israel Fund. Following October 7th, she led the Fund’s entire humanitarian aid response and the advocacy efforts for the return of the hostages.

Brit is the co-founder of "Faithful Left", a social movement of religious and Masorati Jews working for equality, justice, and peace. She serves on the boards of various social organizations, lectures at universities and pre-military academies, and previously founded and directed a cultural initiative aimed at reviving abandoned synagogues in Tel Aviv.

She holds a BA in Talmud and Jewish Philosophy from Tel Aviv University and an MA in Gender Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
