David Patrikarakos is an internationally-acclaimed author, journalist and war correspondent. He is the Daily Mail’s Special Correspondent, and the host of its global news podcast. He is also Foreign Correspondent for the online magazine UnHerd.

His last book War in 140 Characters: How Social Media is Reshaping Conflict in 21st Century was published to international acclaim. It is taught at Sandhurst, West Point and NATO, and used by the UK Ministry of Defence. In February 2022 The Wall Street Journal chose it as one of "7 books to read to understand why Russia wants Ukraine."
