Karen is Chief Engagement Officer at The Conduit, a global community of changemakers committed to creating a just and sustainable future. In addition, she serves as a trustee of New Israel Fund UK, and chairs its Human Rights Awards Committee.

Born and raised in London's Iraqi-Indian community, Karen went to Israel on her gap year and came back 25 years later. Her time in Israel was firmly rooted in the Middle East Peace Process with a career spanning Haaretz, the British Embassy, the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, and the Tony Blair Institute.
