About The London Initiative

Like-Minded Leaders Committed to Change

TLI is a network of leaders who share a deep commitment to developing Israel as a mature liberal democracy, shaping a fairer shared future for all citizens of Israel, reviving hope in the prospects of achieving secure peace, and strengthening partnership between all citizens of Israel, world Jewry, international allies and stake-holders.

These propositions are set out in Israel’s Declaration of Independence and reflect shared universal principles of democracy, fairness and equality held by all members.

Our mission

Advancing the promise of Israel's Declaration of Independence.

The London Initiative was created in response to sustained threats to Israeli democracy, deep internal divisions and the deterioration of relations between Israel and much of world Jewry.

We seek to change Israel’s direction of travel by providing like-minded leaders with critical ingredients for change-making: conceptual clarity, up-to-date knowledge, vibrant community, agency and action opportunities. Above all TLI provides confidence that we – the endangered majority – can and must speak up and speak out.

Senior leaders, diverse backgrounds, shared commitment.

TLI is driven by a network of 360 accomplished individuals from Israel, world Jewry and the international community.
